Diatomaceous Earth can be used to promote the uptake of water and minerals in soil, but is mainly known for its success as an insecticide.

Due to its high Silica (Si) content, it aids in the strengthening of plant cell walls and assists in the fight against environmental stressors such as powdery mildew. 

The above resulting in increased yields
