SUPER HPS LAMPS
High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs are predominately used for the flowering cycle of a plant. HPS bulbs are made out of a translucent ceramic arc tube containing a mixture of sodium, mercury and xenon gas. This arc tube is suspended in an outer glass shield. HPS bulbs range in power from 400w, 600w and 1000w being the most popular for indoor horticulture.
Always avoid handle grow lamps with bare hands. Don’t leave fingerprints on the glass as this will impair the performance of the lamp. It is best to use a cloth when handling grow lamps.
